1 month

Spencer's first month of life went by so fast.  My mom came to visit a couple days after Spencer was born and stayed about a week.  We loved having her come and hold Spencer for hours.  And she made AMAZING food and cleaned our whole house... and left us with a full freezer (AGAIN!).

I love my mom :)

After Spencer's 2 week Dr apt I picked up Brian and we celebrated at Torchy's Tacos :)

Spencer lost his umbilical chord at 2 weeks.  We bathed him with water once a week until 6 weeks when Brian convinced me he needed soap (I was afraid it would make him not smell like a baby and I read they didn't need soap anyways).  We didn't go to bed until 10pm and would try and sleep as long as we could until 10am.  Spencer woke up to nurse about every 3 hours.  I went on walks almost every day, but didn't really go anywhere else.

I was spoiled rotten!  During Spencer's first month of life Brian was able to spend so much time with us.  He only left for class a handful of times.  The other times he left were to a soccer game, to a pizza buffet and to shoot guns.
